How this estimate is calculated
Billable hours equal weekly hours multiplied by working weeks and billable percentage. Your income and expenses are adjusted for the reserve, then divided by billable hours.
Example: 40 hours for 48 weeks at 60% produces 1,152 billable hours. A $72,000 base target with a 10% reserve requires $80,000 revenue, or about $69.44 per hour.
